The Mixtape 27: Magnetic Poetry

This month’s mixtape comes from Moscow-based band Magnetic Poetry. For members Oksana and Dima, who are a couple, playing 80s-inspired synth-pop together provides an escape in a big, harsh city. The mix they’ve recorded for The Calvert Journal will help you last through the dark winter months. “The mixtape consists of minimal synths, cold wave and postpunk tracks from all over the world. It’s perfect for hibernating at house parties or dreaming of warmer months under the gloom of grey skies”, they explain.
