Platonov Festival’s programme rivals those of major arts festivals around in the world: featuring countless premieres from leading international theatre companies, performances by leading bands and music orchestras, art exhibitions and book fairs. The festival, named after Voronezh-born writer Andrey Platonov, is generously supported by local businesses and have recently found a fitting permanent venue — Art Communa, a converted industrial warehouse right in the city centre which provides a perfect backdrop for some of the festival highlights.
