Bassiani

Connoisseurs of techno sometimes say that Tbilisi is the new Berlin. Bassiani is why. Buried deep beneath the city’s main football stadium, the dance floor is an Olympic swimming pool (the DJs are at the deep end), Bassiani feels like the epitome of post-Soviet clubbing. It regularly attracts internationally famous artists, and has fostered its own line of Georgian DJs too (it even has its own record label). It's queer-friendly, dark and loud, though the place has some serious face control so don’t come in a suit.
