After winning the San Pellegrino Young Chef of the Year award in 2014, Sergey Berezutskiy teamed up with his identical twin Ivan, who had worked at El Bulli, to open a new Moscow restaurant. Two short years later, the imaginatively named Twins came in at No 75 in the World’s Best Restaurants 2016. The 31-year-olds’ pallette is patriotic but playful, with theatrical flourishes aplenty, including their signature dish of venison and langoustine which is smoked in birch bark at the table.
