Warsaw Photo Days Festival 2018 is making their final call out for artists to appear in this year’s show.

Organisers are looking for 12 themed photo projects — or multimedia projects using photo or video — to appear in Warsaw galleries between December 7 — 28 2018.

A dedicated jury will pick work based on this year’s festival theme: “Manipulation.” Judges will also pick one winner to get their hands on a 5,000 Polish Zloty ($1,300).

“Manipulation is a common and supra-local phenomenon that affects our social and political life, advertising, and the media, as well as medium of photography itself,” organisers say.

“It’s a process that should be of interest to all of us due to its scale and increasing use, especially as a young generation of creators shaped by an overactive media reality and aggressive world of advertising, with politics and mass culture surrounding us from every angle.”

The deadline for submitting projects expires on November 24, 2018. For more information, click here.
