This artist unleashed Photoshop on a Russian city and the results are mind-blowing

Whether it’s subtly-edited selfies or airbrushed ad campaigns, digital image manipulation has taken the modern age by storm.
But Russian 2D artist Vladimir Tomin isn’t interested in sort of polishing that gives images of everyday life an Instagram-glow. He’s pushing digital art to its limits by combining Photoshop with real life street scenes.
Tomin overlays video editing tools onto the streets of Khabarovsk in Russia’s Far East, using them to distort and change the world around him: knocking over streep lamps, unhooking chain fences, and deleting birds with the click of his mouse.
His work has already caused a stir with Ford, the NBA and KFC all among his former clients. Internet giant Apple even offered to move the designer to California, but Tomin turned it down to continue enjoying “real winter” in Russia.
