The 2015 Baltic Trail electronic music gathering kicks off today at the Nida Art Colony in Lithuania.

This will be the first time Lithuania has hosted the event, which brings together electronic musicians from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

As well as a showcase of performances and opportunities to discuss with like-minded musicians, the gathering will also see a series of lectures by Lithuanian producer Domas Strupinskas, Estonian sound artist and composer John Grzinich, and Icelandic visual artist Gunnhildur.

Baltic Trail was established in 2013, with the inaugural event taking place in the city of Liepāja, Latvia. This year’s gathering will take place at the Nida Art Colony, part of the Vilnius Academy of Arts, located on Lithuania’s portion of the Curonian Spit.

More information about the gathering can be found on the Baltic Trail website.
