Nu-Martisor, the Romanian exhibition at London’s Clerkenwell Design Week, will showcase seven emerging Romanian designers.

Organised by the Romanian Cultural Institute, Halima Habil and Dizainar.ro, Nu-Martisor explores the response of Romanian designers to folklore and tradition, aiming to challenge the traditional perception of Romanian contemporary design and facilitate a creative dialogue surrounding Romanian culture.

The designers featured are Atelier A4, Alexandru Ioniţă, Andrei Ignia, Ciprian Manda, Mădălina Teler, Maria Decu & Mihai Dumitrache, and Ubikubi / Dragos Motică.

Clerkenwell Design Week will take place from 24 — 26 May. Nu-Martisor will be located at Garden of St James, St James Walk, EC1R 0EA. More information can be found here.
