The 5th Moscow Architecture Biennale opens tomorrow, bringing together leading figures from the international architectural community to the Russian capital.

The 2016 edition of the Biennale is being curated by Dutch architect and critic Bart Goldhoorn. The centrepiece of the Biennale, the Arch-Moscow International Exhibition of Architecture and Design, this year takes “Architecture and Life” as its main theme. Taking place at the Central House of Artists, Arch-Moscow comprises five thematic sections: Architecture/Arch Market, Design Bureau, Exterior and Interior Solutions, Light in Architecture, and Details.

Within the framework of the Biennale architecture magazine SPEECH will present its new projects, while the head of architecture bureau WALL, Ruben Arakelyan, will present the installation Architecture Offline. The life of an architect. A trilogy. The Biennale’s programme also features master class, seminars and roundtable discussions.

The 5th Moscow Architecture Biennale will take place from 18—22 May. More information can be found here.
