Footage shows Belarusian journalist Pavel Sheremet’s killers

Footage has emerged of two people allegedly planting the car bomb that killed the Belarusian journalist Pavel Sheremet on Wednesday in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev.

The unverified footage was published on Ukrainian website Obozrevatel (Columnist), showing what seems to be a man and woman planting a bomb in the car driven by Sheremet.

Sheremet wrote for Ukrainska Pravda, a popular online news site. He was driving a car belonging to Olena Prytula, a founding editor of the news site, which exploded around 7.40am local time. The Ukrainian police are investigating the possibility that she was the intended target of the attack. Many have linked Sheremet’s death to his occupation as a journalist.
