Go paddle boarding on a St Petersburg canal

Check out this video of St Petersburg’s first paddle boarding festival, which saw dozens of enthusiasts take a tour of the city’s famous canals.

The Fontanka-SUP (stand up paddle boarding) festival drew participants in a range of outfits, from a Father Christmas costume to various kinds of national dress. Even the chairman of the city’s Tourism Development Committee, Andrei Mushkarev, decided to get involved and could be seen paddling down the canals in a wetsuit.
