Home-rental service Airbnb is offering a chilling Halloween stay at Romania’s Bran Castle, said to be the inspiration behind Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel, Dracula.

The competition will see the castle host overnight guests for the first time since 1948.

This will be no normal Airbnb experience – the contest winner and their guest will have the opportunity to spend Halloween night sleeping in “luxurious, velvet-trimmed coffins” in the crypt.

All you need to do to win this unusual prize is answer the question “What would you tell Count Dracula if you met him at the castle?” by 26 October.

If you’re successful, Dacre Stoker, the great-great-grandson of Bram Stoker, will be only too happy to welcome you to the castle and guide you to your coffin.
