Walkers wandering through the woodland near the Czech city of Pardubice might be surprised to stumble across this tiny dwelling, suspended beneath a disused railway bridge.
The wooden “Black flying house” hangs somewhat spookily from steel cables under the old bridge, complete with a steep gable roof and small windows — a perfect vantage point.
Walkers who find the ladder — hidden nearby — can secure it to the underside of the house to discover what’s inside, if they’re brave enough.
The team behind the project, Prague-based H3T architects, designed the mysterious dwelling as “a conundrum that encourages passersby to think”.
Would you dare to venture up the ladder?
