Russian pensioner Tatiana Subbotina has shot to fame with her series of YouTube videos. If you don't speak Russian, fear not — the joy is really in the visuals.
Tatiana's forte is in her stellar use of chroma key video editing technology, which sees her “swimming” in an artificial sea — she was, after all, advised by doctors to swim following an injury — chilling in the bath and speeding through green fields in a sports car.
Hailing from the Republic of Khakassia in southern Siberia, Tatiana's anecdotes and special effects skills have won her an impressive following, particularly on Russian social media site VKontakte.
There's something for everybody on Tatiana's channel, from videos for children featuring Peppa Pig to educational videos on working with chroma key — you too could soon be swimming among the coral in a fake sea!
