Hailing from the Far East town of Ussuriysk, situated just 60km from both the Pacific Ocean and the Russia-China border, the English bulldog Karamelka is one of Russia’s biggest animal Instagram celebrities.

Serving her followers with daily doses of trendy outifts and inspiring quotes, Karamelka has an impressive 780,000 followers. Most of the account’s feed is staged photos of Karamelka in various styles and situations, and she regularly collaborates with brands like Fujifilm Instax and Olympus.

Karamelka’s owners are Tatyana and Andrey Opalatenko, who are both animal photographers, and the bulldog’s account occasionally features pictures of other animals as well.
