Russian rapper Husky shot while filming music video

On 1 May Russian rapper Dmitry Kuznetsov, known as Husky, was attacked while filming a music video in Zheleznodorozhny, located in the Moscow region.

The rising rap star, known for his low-budget black and white videos and the motto “I don’t want to be good looking, I don’t want to be rich”, and his group were attacked by five unknown assailants during a music video shoot in an abandoned hospital building.

In total, five members of the musical collective had to be hospitalised at the Zheleznodorozhny District Hospital due to wounds sustained from rubber bullets. One of the members of the group, the rapper Rich, was treated for a severe concussion after being kicked and receiving blows to the head with the handle of a gun.
