Polish photographer Paulina Korobkiewicz will launch her photo book Perspectives on Thursday at London’s Photographers’ Gallery.

Published by Camberwell Press, Perspectives documents the everyday: ordinary objects, architecture and street views. Korobkiewicz arranges these commonplace items into illuminating studies on colour and composition, set within an architectural book object that encourages viewers to interact with the images.

“[T]he book is intended to extend the viewer’s experience of viewing the photographs featured inside it,” says the photographer.

Perspectives was awarded the Camberwell Book Prize in 2016, leading to the collaborative publication project with Camberwell Press.

Paulina Korobkiewicz is a London based photographer. She gained a First-Class Honours Degree in Fine Art Photography from Camberwell College of Arts. This year Paulina was shortlisted for the Belfast Photo Festival Open Submission, and was nominated for the Magnum Photos Graduate Photographers Award.

Paulina Korobkiewicz will launch Perspectives on Thursday 8 June at The Photographers’ Gallery in central London. Find out more here.
