Tomorrow Calvert 22 Foundation’s summer film series A poet in Russia is not just a poet — three screenings dedicated to the fate of Russian writers during and after the Russian Revolution with director Roma Liberov — kicks off with Keep my words forever (2015).

Keep my words forever depicts the tragic fate of the great Russian poet Osip Mandelstam in an enchanting synthesis of cinema, animation, puppetry, music and literature.

Forming part of The Future Remains: Revisiting Revolution, tomorrow evening’s event will also include an audience Q&A with Liberov after the screening.

Keep my words forever will be screened from 7 — 9 pm at Calvert 22 Space in London’s Shoreditch on Thursday 29 June. Book your tickets here.
