Follow of the week: splendid succulents in handmade pots

This Instagram account for a young ceramics and pot plant company in Moscow is about to give you the ultimate plant envy.

Started by photographer Kristina Kolesnikova, the company grew out of a passion for plants — succulents in particular — and a longstanding love for making ceramics. All the pots are handmade and available for sale, some separately and some complete with plants. At the moment the company is operating from Kolesnikova’s apartment in Moscow but the demand might soon drive the business to grow.

The name of the company, Potanica, is a portmanteau of the English word “pot” and the Russian word for botanics (botanica).
