ALEXEY KHAMKIN

Alexey Khamkin (b. 1984) is a visual artist based between Saint Petersburg and Yekaterinburg. Influenced by Japanese Ukiyo-e prints, he works with traditional and computer graphics, as well as with animation, illustration, and installation. Khamkin is interested in structures and landscapes and explores points of connection between humans and nature, whether this connection takes the form of resistance, cooperation, mutual influence, or possibility of communication.
