Alisa Gorshenina (aka alice hualice) is a multidisciplinary artist hailing from Yakshina village in the Urals. She works with textile, painting, video, animation, and other media. In her practice, Gorshenina constantly transforms herself and interprets the resulting images not as separate characters but as her own avatars. She explores a wide range of subjects from the body to national identity, always coming from a personal angle.
