Alisa Smorodina is an artist, designer, and teacher hailing from Frunze, Kirghiz SSR. She mainly works with installation and participatory practices. By acting as an artist-mediator, Smorodina endeavours to organise the space where interpersonal communication and the synthesis of knowledge take place. She explores survival strategies in the contemporary capitalist narrative and the overcoming the consequences of clashing with the reality.
