Anastasia Alekhina (b. 1989, Pyatigorsk) is an interdisciplinary artist based in Moscow. A Rodchenko Art School graduate, she works with new media, technology, and sound. She uses self-made analogue instruments, computer algorithms, synthesis, and found sound. In her practice, Alekhina explores aesthetic and existential issues of modernity, human identity, and the future of wearable devices and the corporal. She is also an educator at Tretyakov Gallery’s New Creative Workshops.
