Anastasia Volokhova (b. 1994, Tobolsk) is an interdisciplinary artist based in St Petersburg. A cyberfeminist, new media researcher, film and video director, and music producer, she works with a wide range of media exploring the new materialism. In her practice, Volokhova reflects on issues that are still taboo in our culture and on transformations of bodies and subjects in cyberreality through the use of transgression, humour, and terror. In 2016-2020, she was the chief editor of the Shkura magazine.
