One of Georgia’s largest banks will provide out-of-town gallery spaces as part of plans for its new hi-tech headquarters.

TBC Bank has already began work on its new home, the TBC Forum, in the Lisi Valley outside Tbilisi.

Designed by UNStudio, the campus’ cascading roofscape, was inspired by the surrounding Caucasian mountains. Inside, the building will combine TBC Bank offices with a designated culture hub of galleries, restaurants, and co-working spaces, alongside a new “innovation lab” for new technologies and startups.

The studio says that the project will create a “new destination” in the city suburbs.

“Financial institutions are increasingly embracing innovative and creative strategies in order to improve quality and performance,” it said in a press statement.

“The cultural hub will act as a catalyst for the development of a new area of the city, promoting socio-economic development.”
