Here’s your sneak peek at Kiev’s first photo book festival

30 January 2019

Artists, photographers and publishers are descending on Ukraine for the country’s first pioneering photo book festival.

The Kyiv Photo Book Festival on February 9, 2019, hopes to build bridges between authors-photographers and Ukrainian art lovers.

A dedicated fayre at the capital’s IZONE Creative Community will showcase photo books from Ukraine and the world, featuring independent publications and art-house backed titles.

Organisers say the festival will host the country’s biggest photo book gathering to date, with many editions premiering in Ukraine for the first time.

An insightful educational program for both viewers and photographers will also be on offer throughout the day.
