Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy has dropped the first teaser for his long-awaited art scene return, GR-Uniforma.
It’s Rubchinskiy first major release since announcing a major brand overhaul back in April 2018, when he told fans that his pioneering streetwear label was coming to an end “as they knew it.” The next ten months, however, has seen Rubchinskiy struggle amid allegations of plagiarism and impropriety with a would-be underage male model.
The new multimedia project will combine black-and-white photos and video art against a gloomy post-punk soundtrack recorded between London’s Dean St. Studios in Soho and Moscow’s Podrezkovo suburb.
The new collection will be presented to the public on 16 March, but for now all other details remain strictly under wraps.
