Radar Russia: get to know Russia’s emerging musicians on Spotify

Spotify has curated a playlist that brings together Russia’s best emerging bands.

The 60-song compilation is part of RADAR, Spotify’s programme to help up-and-coming artists reach out to new, global audiences. The streaming giant began work in Russia in July 2020, and has been hailed by the company as its most successful new market launch to date.

The Radar Russia selection will grow as new emerging artists are added. In the meantime, the playlist ranges from rap and dreamy techno beats to pop-rock and soft instrumental ballads. It also prominently features Gen Z musicians such as Tri Dnia Dozhdia, an indie pop duo whose most popular track, “Ne Kiryai,” has already racked up more than 4.5 million streams.”
