Russian police choir cover Get Lucky

Russia’s police force are notorious for their heavy-handed ways. But this week, they showed a softer side when they posted a video of the police choir singing Daft Punk’s Get Lucky. Dressed in uniforms, the 30-odd police officer sing along to the track which in September was the most popular song in the history of Spotify with over 100 million plays. The song has also been covered by Florence Welch from Florence and the Machine, Mystery Jets and The Roots. In August, a video of the Russian army choir singing Adele’s Skyfall went viral and has currently been viewed close to two million times on YouTube.
