Russian state-backed television channel RT will premiere Terminal F, the documentary on US whistleblower Edward Snowden, on 13 April, the television channel announced today.
The documentary will show “how events unfolded around Snowden, from the moment he left the United States with classified documents and came to Hong Kong, until he was granted temporary asylum in Russia”, RT’s Russian website reads.
Last August, Snowden announced that he had received a Russian residence permit lasting for three years. Months later, in October, Snowden was approached by Russia’s nationalist Liberal Democratic Party to host a TV programme on secret services and intelligence gathering.
