Entertainment channel Paramount Comedy has partnered with the youth internet portal WeekendOpenSpace (WOS) to show content from the website on the Russian version of the channel, including video reports by Oleg Koronny, the Russian equivalent of Sacha Baron Cohen’s Ali G. In his hugely popular and satirical show, Oh No Anything But That!, Koronny pokes fun at prominent cultural figures with his absurd interviewing technique.
Paramount Comedy launched a Russian channel in 2012 and is now seeking to diversify by adding more local content to its programme of major US comedy shows.
