Pawlikowski receives state honour

Paweł Pawlikowski, director of 2015 Academy Award-winning Ida, has been honoured by Polish president Bronisław Komorowski.

Pawlikowski received the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Reborn Poland for his artistic achievements and promotion of Polish culture.

The director was joined by composer Jan AP Kaczmarek, winner of the Oscar for Best Original Score for Finding Neverland in 2005. Kaczmarek received the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Reborn Poland.
