Russian poet Kirill Medvedev in conversation at ICA in London

Russian poet Kirill Medvedev will be in conversation with author Adam Thirlwell tomorrow at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) in London.

Described by The White Review as “one of the most exciting, unpredictable voices on the Russian literary scene”, Kirill Medvedev (b.1975) will be discussing his work following the recent English-language publication of his poetry collection It’s No Good (Fitzcarraldo Editions, 2015). He is known both for his often irreverent and politically explicit free verse poetry and for his left-wing activism.

Adam Thirlwell is a British writer, particularly known for his novels Politics and The Escape. He is also the author of an experimental book called Kapow!, and has twice been named as one of Granta’s Best of Young British Novelists.
