The Tbilisi-based Giorgi Mikeladze State Puppet Theatre is set to work with London’s Chickenshed Theatre to provide opportunities for people with disabilities.

Supported by the Georgian Ministry of Culture, the Giorgi Mikeladze State Puppet Theatre will work with Chickenshed Theatre to offer activities and employment opportunities to people with disabilities, in the first project of its kind in the Caucasus region.

The project is due to begin once the Giorgi Mikeladze State Puppet Theatre has moved to its new site.

Founded in 1974, Chickenshed Theatre is a North London-based inclusive theatre company and charity that is committed to providing creative opportunities for children, teenagers and adults of all backgrounds and abilities.
