Bishkek’s Museum of Fine Arts will host “Night at the Museum” on Saturday.
The event will see the museum open from 8pm — 2 am, with free admission for all visitors.
“Night at the Museum includes a special programme: an interactive tour with the stars, art classes by well-known artists, sculptors, more than 20 kinds of master classes, quests, a show programme [...] performances by Manas narrators, national games and competitions, prizes from sponsors [...],” reads a statement by the culture ministry.
The museum’s permanent collection showcases a range of Kyrgyz paintings and drawings, including work from the Soviet period and more contemporary artists, as well as collections of Kyrgyz embroidery and felt rugs.
