New east photographers selected for Foam Talent 2016

International photography publication Foam Magazine has chosen three eastern European photographers to be featured in its upcoming talent issue.

The Amsterdam-based magazine has named Latvian photographer Andrejs Strokins, Alexandra Hunts from Ukraine and the Netherlands and Polish-born Ilona Szwarc among the 24 selected photographers to be featured, from a total of 1494 submissions from 75 different countries.

The Foam Magazine Talent Issue is due to to be published at the end of August. A selection of the work from Foam Talent 2016 will be available to view from 25 July – 29 August in a special open air billboard exhibition at Amsterdam’s Mercatorplein.

Each spring, Foam Magazine holds a talent call to find exceptionally talented young photographers (age 18 – 35) from around the world.
