Slovenian visual artist Saša Štucin takes you on an everyday journey with a snapshot camera

16 September 2016

Let Slovenian-born visual artist Saša Štucin take you on a journey into daily life with her series Everyday, captured on a snapshot camera.

Štucin, who is now London-based, chose to use the small tourist camera due to its portability, the small size and weight allowing her to take it anywhere with ease. Her use of this camera throughout the project aids in the creation of a sense of continuity – both in terms of style and concept – across the series of images.

In Everyday, the artist focuses in on the details of daily life and travel, cropping surrounding objects from the picture and creating an abstract image from an everyday scene.
