This Russian photographer is bored of street photos – so he decided to add cartoons

For people who have already explored all of Europe’s iconic capitals, travelling the world through a camera lens might become somewhat dull.

Sergey Poliakov, a photographer from St Petersburg who recently moved to Bucharest, is tired of the same old postcard views. He decided to make his pictures from Riga, Tallinn, Constanța, Bucharest, St Petersburg, Paris and other popular tourist destinations a little less conventional and a little more lively by adding sketched passersby to views of scenic streets.
