Fashion week moments: models sport cling film-inspired scarves at IVKA

To mark the 33rd MBFWRussia, we’ve teamed up with photographer Ryan Koopmans to bring you exclusive behind-the-scenes insight into Moscow’s biggest fashion event.

Backstage at MBFWRussia, models illuminate their eye makeup before a show by fledgling label IVKA.

The first full day of the 33rd season closed with the Moscow brand, founded in 2014 by its designer Anastasia Gassi, formerly an abstract expressionist artist.

Her painterly approach permeated a collection characterized by muted colours, rich textures, minimalist music and lack of accessories — save for billowy plastic head scarves.
