Fancy a photo shoot in a Moscow library?

25 October 2016

From 1 November, ten of Moscow’s libraries will turn into photography studios for anyone who wants to arrange a photo session with the backdrop of their historical interiors. Among the venues available for booking are Gogol House, Turgenev Library and Reading Hall and Nekrasov Library.

Many libraries are located in 19th century buildings and include fireplaces, friezes, wooden, spiral staircases and antique furniture.

In contrast, there is also a choice of libraries in a modern, minimalist, Scandinavian-like style.

For access to these libraries photographers will need to book in advance.
