Czech drama film I, Olga Hepnarová will have its UK premiere this Friday.
Directed by Tomáš Weinreb and Petr Kazda, the black-and-white film follows the story of Olga Hepnarová, a young lesbian mass-murderer and the last woman ever executed in Czechoslovakia.
I, Olga Hepnarová was first shown earlier this year in the Panorama section at the 66th Berlin International Film Festival.
The premiere will take place at London’s Regent Street Cinema on Friday 11 November, and will be followed by a Q&A with director Tomáš Weinreb and actress Michalina Olszańska. I, Olga Hepnarová will go on general release around the UK on 18 November, as well as being available on Mubi. Tickets and more information can be found here.
