Moscow to build world's tallest ferris wheel

15 April 2013

The world’s biggest ferris wheel is to be built in Moscow in time for the 2018 World Cup. City planners have confirmed that the giant wheel will be built in a park in the south of the capital close to Moscow State University. The $750m construction will be 220 metres high and will be supported by a 275-metre tower. At present, the Singapore Flyer is the tallest ferris wheel measuring 165 metres in height while the London Eye is third at 135 metres.
