Celebrated Serbian filmmaker Emir Kusturica is set to open his own school of acting and directing.
“The school will start in September this year. The first selection process will be held in April, and the second in June,” the director told Serbian newspaper Telegraf, commenting that he believes the project essential for contemporary European culture.
The filmmaker also gave details of some upcoming plans, stating his wish to take a break from working on Serbian-language films and his excitement about the possibility of working in China in the future.
According to some reports, the school will be located in Serbia.
