U Can Take: check out this new Tatar hip hop video

Tatar rapper and YouTube vlogger Irina Smelaya has premiered a new video by her hip hop project Tatarka.

The song, called U Can Take, is performed with the Russian band Little Big, led by Smelaya’s husband Ilya Prusikin. The song is in Tatar with the chorus in English.

Little Big are a cult Russian band known for their rave songs and videos mocking stereotypes about Russia (see the song Everyday I’m Drinking). They have also been called the “Russian Die Antwoord”.

Tatarka’s debut video broke the Russian internet last year.
