Victory Park: Latvian photographer Arnis Balcus launches book in London

Tomorrow London’s Photographer’s Gallery will host the launch of Victory Park, a photo book by Latvian photographer Arnis Balcus exploring one of Riga’s most significant and history-rich locations.

Somewhere between documentary photography and artistic experiment, Victory Park examines a space shaped by the policies of former regimes, along with complex and volatile social realities.

Balcus is the editor-in-chief of FK Magazine and programme director of Riga Photomonth. Victory Park is published by Brave Books Berlin.

The launch for Victory Park will take place at The Photographer’s Gallery in central London from 6 — 8pm on Thursday 16 March. Find out more here.
