The Calvert Journal wins Best Use of Photography at The Drum Online Media Awards

The Calvert Journal is delighted to announce that it won Best Use of Photography at The Drum Online Media Awards at a ceremony in London last night for its photographic project Journeys.

Featuring work by photographers Michał Siarek (Poland), Danila Tkachenko (Russia), Lilia Li-Mi-Yan (Russia), Carolyn Drake (USA), Alexander Gronsky (Estonia), Ioana Cîrlig and Marin Raica (Romania), Journeys explores the changing landscapes of the former Eastern Bloc and examines how the shadows of the past might continue to linger over the present.

The Calvert Journal was up against BBC 5 Live News; Reuters, Nelson Bostock PR; and Bloomberg LP.

Now in its sixth year, The Drum Online Media Awards identify and award the best, boldest and most original online news-based creativity. In 2015 The Calvert Journal won the award for Best Designed Site.
