Follow the Russian artist who can fit the Night King on the tip of a pencil.

Ufa-based artist Salavat Fidai mixes extreme skill with fandoms as he carves (and Instagrams) his impressively detailed carvings on the nib of a pencil. His latest series is inspired by the Game of Thrones saga, which has just recently reached the end of its penultimate season (and not without disturbance from Russian hackers).

Whether you’re after ravens, dragons, direwolves, or White Walkers, he has them all, and in great detail. There are also videos showcasing some parts of the carving process, while Fidai also hosts workshops where he explains how to reach (or, let’s be honest, attempt to reach) his level of pencil-carving skill.

Among other fandoms that Fidai explores in carving are Star Wars and Harry Potter, as well as the less conventional fan followings of Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump.
