From a maker of nature-inspired jewellery to a designer of denim-centric fashion label, budding entrepreneurs spanning the breadth of Siberia’s creative landscape have arrived in London.

Hosted by Calvert 22 Foundation, is event is part of Creative Practice’s new initiative Makers of Siberia, an online platform and printed book launching this month at Calvert Forum Siberia, a conference on creative industries taking place in Tyumen on 10-11 November. The online platform and book are dedicated to championing the ideas, people and small businesses shaping Siberia’s cultural community.

While in London, the four artisans will attend a series of workshops and training sessions led by local designers and experts, learning international best practices for growing small businesses in a global context.

A special report featuring extracts and photo essays from the new book will be launched on The Calvert Journal on 8 November.
