BuSH festival takeover: discover the disco-tinged synth sound of Polish pop trio, Kamp!

Each week we’re spotlighting the must-see New East artists at Budapest Showcase Hub (BuSH), which takes place in the Hungarian capital between 15 - 17 November. With less than a week to go before the festival kicks-off, we’re winding down the takeover with Kamp! from Poland, one of the opening bands for the festival.

As fans of both french house and Kraftwerk’s live shows, Polish trio Kamp! always have something special up their sleeve. Kamp! have been around for a while, having grown a massive domestic following and a niche global fanbase thanks to their smooth synth pop, that brings a new-wave feel to retro-chic disco. With their warm, layered production, pop-tinged melodies, hazy melancholic vocals and general balearic vibe, their music evokes dusk till dawn beach-parties, bittersweet road trips and dusty mirrorballs in long forgotten clubs. This is a rare opportunity to see the band hailed as Poland’s best musical export, who play sold-out shows and festivals on home turf. Kamp! have also participated important international music events like SXSW, The Great Escape or Exit Festival.
