Muscovite Alexey Kljatov has carved himself a niche as the world’s premiere snowflake photographer. Using a homemade rig, with a Soviet-made lens taped onto the front of his Canon Powershot, Kljatov captures unique images of delicate snowflakes which fall onto his balcony.
The delicate shapes land on a glass sheet or woolen blanket, where they are gently guided into position using a toothpick.
His work has already been featured in tens of articles, books, and even on the cover of albums and LPs.
